Join Gina Hayduk, Government Contracting Coordinator with the New York Small Business Development Center, as she breaks down the essentials of finding contracting opportunities and pursuing and using certifications in a straightforward, accessible way. Each session includes a live presentation followed by an open Q&A.

8/18 NYS Contract Reporter
Learn how to navigate the New York State Contract Reporter, the state’s official source for government contracting opportunities. Gina will walk you through how to search for bids, set up alerts, and avoid common pitfalls that make the system seem more complicated than it is.

9/8 NYSBDC's BidMatch Service
Discover how NYSBDC’s BidMatch software can automatically send you bid opportunities from federal, state, local, and international sources based on criteria customized to your business's products or services.

9/29 Certifications
There are several state and federal certifications for contractors that can unlock earmarked opportunities. Gina will provide an introduction to these programs, their application processes, and the benefits available through certification.

Presenter: Gina Hayduk specializes in government contracting advisement at all levels and helps businesses with bidding opportunities and procurement processes. She has over 28 years of experience in telecommunications, focusing on project management, communications, and engineering. Gina holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
